it is an open secret that those who came to power through the Rose Revolution intended nothing close to an open and democratic system. They methodically dismantled whatever little freedom there existed during Shevardnadze's time, using all methods to stamp out investigative spirit of Georgian journalists. And many journalists surrendered.
It is remarkable that these two reporters have not bowed to dangers and tried to expose an ugly side of the Georgian reality: the state gone wild with its power. The fact that this report remains not broadcast speaks badly for the state of freedom in Georgia.
